Pricing and length

How long will your audiobook be?

Audiobooks are usually priced per finished hour. That means the running time of the completed audio, not the number of hours spent producing it.

Your word processor shows this. The estimate uses 8,500 to 10,000 spoken words per finished hour.

Delivery style changes the result. A brisk thriller reads faster than reflective literary fiction, and dialogue-heavy or technical text often runs longer. Treat this as a guide, not a measurement.

Estimated finished length

7 hr 30 min to 8 hr 49 min
